Lika Kapanadze

Lika Kapanadze is a junior associate at BGI Legal. She practices general commercial law, litigation and dispute resolution. Prior to joining the firm, she contributed as a researcher at Arbitration Initiative Georgia (AIG), where she assisted the Project Team in developing a Guide on Arbitration for Judges of the Court of Appeals of Georgia.
Ms. Kapanadze holds LL.B degree from Free University of Tbilisi and LL.M. degree in Comparative Private and International Law from New Vision University. During her student years, she successfully participated in various international moot court competitions, including Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court Competition, Brown Mosten International Client Consulting Competition, Central and East European Moot Court Competition and ICC International Commercial Mediation Competition.
Ms. Kapanadze has been enrolled in MIPLC LL.M. programme at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition and is a recipient of German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) scholarship.
Ms. Kapanadze is a member of the Georgian Bar Association and is admitted to practice civil and administrative law in Georgia.
Along with her native Georgian, Ms. Kapanadze is fluent in English, Russian and German.
