BGI welcomes a new partner
BGI is delighted to announce that as of January 2023, the head of the firm’s litigation practice, Giorgi Sarajishvili, who has led our team to many landmark victories over the years, will be joining the rank of BGI partners.
Giorgi first came to BGI in 2010. He has since advanced steadily, passing all positions from a junior associate to the Head of Litigation Practice. He has been leading our litigation team since 2017. He has also advised our clients - some of the biggest global names - on IP and IT related matters. Besides litigation, his professional experience includes mediation, local and international arbitration (including ICC Arbitration) as well as FIDIC Dispute Board. He has steered BGI litigation team in establishing valuable court practices on major, precedent-setting mandates and has also contributed, through several high-profile mandates, to the advancement of freedom of speech and democracy in Georgia.
Due to his dedication, work ethic and character, Giorgi has gained trust and recognition not only within BGI, but also amongst the World’s largest multinational conglomerates, which have been BGI’s valuable clients since the dawn of the practice in the 1990s.
Giorgi holds an LL.M degree in International Commercial Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam (Netherlands) and is currently enrolled in Executive Master’s Program with specialization of Technology Law at Berkeley Law School (USA). His professional achievements and impressive track-record have been continuously recognized by international rankings and directories, including The Legal 500.
