Ekaterina Pipia is an associate at BGI Legal. She specializes in corporate, commercial, labor, administrative, intellectual property, and personal data protection law, as well as litigation.

Prior to joining the firm in 2025, Ekaterina gained extensive experience in both in-house and law firm settings. She has served as in-house legal counsel for various international and local companies, and her prior experience includes working as an associate lawyer. 

Ekaterina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law and a Master’s degree in Private Law from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. Additionally, she earned her LL.M. from the University of Cologne. She is expecting a PhD in Corporate Law. Her academic work includes multiple publications in various Georgian and international legal journals, with a focus on corporate law and limited liability companies. 

Ekaterina is a member of the Georgian Bar Association and is admitted to practice law in Georgia, holding a specialization in Civil Law. 

In addition to her native Georgian, Ekaterina is fluent in English, Russian, and German.
